Linux Live cd Demonstration (Available Free with any other lesson)
Install Linux and Windows on the same computer (dual booting) -- this procedure takes about an hour. Your choice of Mandrake Linux or Fedora $50 per hour
The Great Freeware Extravaganza! Free alternative to ms office. Free high quality computer graphics program. Free sound editor. Free multi-track recording studio. Free spyware protection. (Ask about any of this free software that you might need -- installing all of this would take over one hour at $50 per hour -- single selections may be able to be done with another lesson)
Linux Lessons: Learn to use the Linux Operating system. How to use kppp to set up a phone internet dial up connection. (note: you must have a modem that is compatible with linux winmodems don't work) How to burn cd's using xcdroast. Navigate the linux file system. Access your Windows partition from within linux. Installing additional software. Lessons are $50 per hour you must already have linux installed or also pay for a linux installation first. Have your hardware checked with a live linux cd during a regular lesson to make sure it is compatible. Printers, Scanners, etc. can be looked up online for compatibility check. $50
Download free music without getting fined or screwing up your computer. No, you are not going to learn how to get your favorite Rod Stewart song without paying for it because that is illegal. You will learn where to find thousands of songs that can be downloaded for free. You can save them to your computer or burn them to cd. (FREE with any other lesson)
Kvm installation: Use one monitor, mouse, and keyboard to run two pc towers. You can have both systems on at the same time and switch between them using hot keys. There is an additional charge for the kvm hardware for this. Installation fee is $50 + price of hardware. Installation includes basic hot key switching lesson.
